Pickerel River - October 2004

No bears or rattlesnakes on this one. It was too cold!

50 km winds with snow and temperatures dipping to -4. We had 17 men and one lady on this trip. Lots of fun because most people were experienced canoeists with a great attitude towards canoeing and the wilderness. Or maybe it was because of Donny's martini bar.

As the photos show this is ruggedly beautiful rocky terrain.
